About the Event
Local cyclist Jeffrey McElfresh is the subject of a new PBS documentary called Jeffrey’s Journey. Jeffrey, who has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a peripheral neuropathy that weakens the muscles cycles along the Ohio River from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati over the course of ten days, reflecting on life and the surrounding landscape. On Friday, July 11, join Jeffrey and the OIC for “Dinner and a Documentary at the Library”, where we will enjoy free pizza, view the documentary together, and hear from Jeffrey about how he lives his best life despite a life-changing disability.
